A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The Volkswagen CC shares its platform, dashboard design and engines with the previous generating Passat, it differentiates itself from that car with a rakish 4-door body, which brings to mind a sleek coupe look which is why the car has CC in its name, which stands for Comfort Coupe. This not only differentiates the CC from the rather dowdy new VW Passat, but also from many of the other midsize sedans as well. To be frank we think that there is plethora of car models that would have wanted to look as cool as CC model. The CC design is also different from its previous Passat sibling in terms of engine as well perform.
