2011 Cadillac DTS - New Looks

The 2011 Cadillac DTS offers contemporary comfort commonly associated with this price range. It has a fantastically plush ride, and an extremely quiet cabin. The passenger cabin is also extremely roomy, despite looking fairly small on the outside. The Cadillac DTS is a full-size luxury sedan that combines classic styling, impeccable road manners and a spacious interior, all contributing to its reputation as a comfortable long distance cruiser. The car even carries a big V8 standard with a four-speed automatic transmission. The car comes with four trim levels models. These are Basic, Luxury, Premium, and Platinum. The standard model comes from the factory with 17-inch wheels, front fog lights, separate climate control for passenger and driver, Bluetooth, an eight-speaker stereo system, On Star free for 12 months, remote engine start, and xenon headlights. The front-wheel drive DTS is powered by GM's North Star 4.6-liter V8 engine, available in both 275-hp and 292-hp versions and mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. An exclusive Platinum Collection trim is also offered, boasting an adaptive suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, unique chrome wheels and grille, upgraded interior trim elements and exclusive wood accents. Standard safety equipment includes electronic stability control with traction control, anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, front side-impact airbags, overhead curtain airbags for front and rear passengers, a tire pressure monitor and On Star service. An available Driver Awareness Package offers enhanced safety with Lane Departure Warning and Side Blind Zone Alert systems. Shifting is handled by a tried-and-true four-speed automatic transmission. The transmission is tweaked for higher routine in the Platinum representation.
